- Claude Design updates now keep work better aligned with existing design systems across projects, offering tighter Claude Code sync, direct canvas editing, stronger layout controls, and more tool connections — relevant for teams using Desktop as a hub for both code and design work.
A security note worth flagging: red-teamers recently demonstrated turning Claude Desktop into a “double agent” through prompt-injection-style attacks that abuse its tool/MCP integrations. If your Desktop setup connects to sensitive tools or data sources (email, CRM, file systems), it’s worth reviewing which MCP servers are connected and what permissions they’re granted, and keeping an eye on Anthropic’s guidance as this research is addressed.
