Before going self-employed, I worked at American Express. There I led international teams of up to 45 people, responsible for the German, Austrian, French and Nordic markets in the areas of fraud, credit authorisations and disputes.

Those years inside a global corporation shaped the way I work today. I learned first-hand how large organisations really function: how processes interlock across countries and departments, where workflows run smoothly and where they get stuck, and how to set up structures that stay reliable even under heavy load and strict requirements. That instinct for processes, workflows and corporate structures is still at the core of my work. I think in working workflows, not in individual tools.

I installed my first WordPress over 14 years ago, for a project of my own that needed a website and had no budget. What began as self-help became a profession.

Over the years larger sites followed, multisites, WooCommerce projects, performance overhauls, migrations. Today I work with freelancers, mid-sized companies and associations across the DACH region, almost always fully remote.

13 years ago I used Zoho for the first time, because I needed invoicing software. Today Zoho One is my second pillar and the tool I work with every day.

Automation came along when I noticed that many of my clients spend 6–10 hours a week on tasks a machine does better, provided you set it up cleanly.

Today I work with Claude every day and advise companies on using AI where it brings real value. I train entire teams to work with Claude in practice and support them until they reach goals that were previously out of reach. Without the hype, but with clear, measurable results.

I set up Claude, AI tools and automations, and both have their place. Some of these solutions are, honestly, deadly boring: a quiet script running in the background that nobody notices and that still saves hours week after week. Others are exciting and almost unbelievable: things I wouldn't have thought a machine could do two years ago. In the end, what matters isn't how spectacular a solution looks, but what it moves for you.
